Mr Leow said, "If you miss tomorrow, you miss everything. You will regret it for the rest of your stay in JJ and for the whole of your life." Cool. I wonder how's tomorrow is going to be like.Except that there's no lessons:) Can't wait!..But..there's sure to be the time where parting inevitably happens..it's like when the best is over after tomorrow..that's IT. I dread the releasing of results, partly because of the fear of extreme disappointment but mostly because it means I might leave JJ, and leave everything I have now. Life is good now. and can be even better. Tough decision. Haiz.
For now, my New Year Resolutions!! Haha..Happy Chinese New Year everyone!
ok I shall blog about lessons in JJ so far!! CLL-I guess the people taking H2 chinese are those that really love chinese. It's like..we can memorised and recite chinese poetry anywhere, in the canteen or in the streets. People read books of chinese poems for fun. yeah..For me sometimes it's boring, sometimes it's fine. I'm still adapting.. Maths-all easy peasy stuff which we've all done before. Somehow I find myself prefering the more challenging Amaths.. English Lit-The "Mr Jailani"-like teacher. Mr Dore is SCARY. crazily siaoz. He lightens up and makes the otherwise dry poems interesting though. Just that we're very prone to frequent heart attacks in his lessons. Econs-I better not say anything about this. haha.. PC- aka PE. tough. ran 3.2km on Monday, susposed to run 4 rounds round track on Tuesday. I walked. Somehow to me running 3.2 is WAY less tiring than the 4 rounds. I think it's a mental thing.
Went out for dinner and returned late for Modern Dance Concert. Result? No seats. haha which turned out to be a good thing!! cos we decided to sit right at the back. and there was this "dark tall figure" right there at the center. Turned out to be Mr Tang, on cants. lolx. I think it's quite fun to watch from there, cos it's like we can do whatever we want and sit however we like and nobody will see or care!! heh..The view is not bad also..haha.. Actually wanted to blog about school and lessons de..but ended up blogging about today instead! haha..blog about school another day bahs..:)
Went for e-club cca ytd. I wanted to join Kafe, wanted the working experience! haha but other that, think I'll pon everything else. heh. Applied to be an OGL too, though most prob I won't even be staying. -_-\ heh..reason? Fer FUN & maybe the interview experience? I don't know..AND I wanted to go for JJ DRAMAFEST SO BADLY. Only it's only for J2s. arghh..freaking pissed. haiz..
Went back to nanyang and visited theatre in m4 for urm 5 mins? haha..I miss theatre so much! But the club seems so small..so little people since we left..crashed HC next. We were one of the first crashers at around 3. I saw lots of friends there. haha.. Borrowed some of their orientation tees when we heard that they're catching crashers. Went into the super small LT4 where we were super obvious stuck in the middle of the class. Luckily we managed to "sneak" out before that class went up to perform. Went to a bigger LT3 next. Watched more performances at the back of the LT. By then it was around 6 and almost time for the campfire! Sat down to watch the band performance and basically stayed there through all the games, different houses performances. Stayed AND survived through the cheers, songs and dance sessions too! The dances are so so lame la!! haha..but easy and fun:) Prefer JJ dances though. Much more shaking haha..Then the campfire was actually lighting up the words "Let's Jamz!" in the air. Buses were jammed with HCers. Everyone went off to eat super and celebrate. I was the only student left on the bus..falling asleep on the way back...
While waiting I chatted with some of the workers/helpers about jcs..kinda make me less nervous la..haha.There was a switch of judges just before my turn..then this new batch of judges (huishi, zhiyong, mali) had quite a different style from the previous ones..they asked more open ended questions and I din show the "special talent". They asked me why I want to be a DJ and which type and when did I start listening to radio..like HUH..totally unexpected la..so many questions..hahah..The reporting of entertainment news was..err..how to say..can't understand half the words in the article la! cos it's in the traditional chinese characters. It was something about how Da-S wants to marry Wang Li Hong. -_- But but but I simply LOVE the judges expressions when I say "Most importantly I'm a student from Project S!!!" and everyone screamed and cheered. whoots. I'm damn proud and happy to be part of Project-S. When I finished Huishi said laughing "thanks for your courage" We left after all the ProjectS ppl had finished and then...bet the place turned cold without out enthu cheers. haha..project S forever! Heard that they will only select 5 people for the finals..Think I 100% no hope la ( reporting news was quite bad) but it doesn't matter. Having fun on stage and cheering for ppl is the most impt:)
1st 2 days-admin days-it was really quite fun(apart from all those long talks)with meeting new friends in our OG grp. OG02! F1! not to forget learning all the crazee cheers, the icebreaker games and mass dance! My personal favourite-the superman cheer!! Love the chiwawa cheer too..So cute!oh and the apple orange cheer:) The people Mr Simon Leow-the super funny guy in charge of camp. Mr Leow is such a special guy..he got a twinge of Mr Jailani and Mr Tang together. Like how he loves to sing (off-tune) and is super dramatic. Our wonderful OGLS (or superb! as what they call it) Naz, PeiHuang, Kenton, Alycia Camp Day 1- Played the actual story where we had to hunt around the school for items (treasure hunt?) and then act out a story using the items found as props. OG games include the milk game, the hand game, double wacko etc..other games include dodgeball & balloon ball game. There was Mass Dance which was fun fun fun! Learned uh 5 dances I think. Then there was a song singing session in one of the 5 LTs. The place reminded me of NY auddy! The shape of the stage and the control room up there especially.. The night games was really great. It was this giant snake and ladder thingie where every step u took u had to complete a challenge before moving on. AND they make it such that pratically every venue of the challenge is "quite" far away. So that night practically run up and down the stairs and around the school a lot of times! There was this particular station where we were in a circle and susposed to hold hands randomly then try to untangle ourselves. Best thing is, we just unlinked our hands and link them again in a circle! LOL. haha anyway..OGO2 came in 2nd! YAY :) There was more stars then usual that night. It was beautiful. really beautiful.. Camp Day 2-oh man..this is one WET day. 1st water games in the morning includes Marbles, Flour, Soup, Papayas..changed and went for Mass dance.(btw their dances were all designed such that it's a boy-gal dance and for some reason there's a lot a lot of shaking) After lunch was the 2nd water games, world of combat, where there was different stations to get wet and soupy and muddy!! (gosh it was raining mahs..appreciate the synthetic field manz..no mud..just wet plastic grass..hahha) not to mention stinky & smelly. There was even a game where the guys took off their shirts. Another highlight of the day is JJ NIGHT!! The hall was like WOW. The ceilings were decorated with lots of balloons and lightsticks. The feeling is just like grad nite except with much more people! Dancing, singing, cheering, screaming and basically just going crazy & high. Masses of lightsticks were thrown in the air and it's really a beautiful sight. The day ended on a great mood since we got to sleep in classrooms!! Played truth or dare for a while until about 2am and everytime someone came we would pretend to be sleeping in the most NOT sleepable positions. haha..our OGLs even came in and told us that they were going to catch a couple kissing outside, plus help us look for the air-con guy to change the temperature. Anyway we found out that a lot of ppl looks guai but it not guai at all! & talked about the guys in out OG and the whole JJ. We set up KFC. Kenton's fan club!! Kenton is captain of rugby team worz! haha..when he knew and told us that KFC existed 5 years ago, we changed it to JYFC. His chinese name is Jia Yi and always got teased by the other OGLS about it. Later in the night, as we continue talking about OGLS, we decided to make cards for them! Drew up 7 cards and we wrote messages on them. Our 4 beloved OGLs, the family head Lawrence & assistant Eugenia, and Mr Leow. Last day-it was basically a wrap up, played the e-web, or emotional spiderweb and wrote testimonials for each other. Positive Attitude(PA) was really there. It's like no matter what they ask us to do, even if they ask us to die we would cheer n scream ALRIGHT! -_- haha..The 3 days camp was really really hectic with no free time between the many activities, but yet as we r susposed to get more tired, we got more active and enthu:) Slept the whole day when I got back and til 2 plus today. The conclusion? it is really a great place to be in, lurve it. :)
go play the game! $1 will be donated to charity for every 3 consequtive questions u answer correctly. :) This week has been (n going to be) really tiring and busy! 1st and 2nd day of JC life, mainly admin stuff. A 3days 2nights Camp tml from the 5th to 7th. Project S contest on the 7th. Meeting up with ting on the 8th.. I know what to do for the talent thingie already! Pre-fight! haha..since I've got no talent and no time to prepare anything. Though I'm sure my standard sure drop, but I can still remember every single move and rhythem:) more about JC life later!
