ZooZoo was fun but tiring. We walk the whole zoo! good exercise though. It's like almost touring the whole zoo when it started to rain. So we ran for shelter and ended up at some place near the entrance :s so when the rain stopped we walked all the way back and continued walking and walking and walking..until we basically saw every single thing in the zoo la! Took over 2 hundred pictures, almost 100 were of the red butt monkeys. Lol. The rainbow butts monkeys were cool too! Then there was the polar bears which we observed for a long time. They have a rountine of swimming. Everytime they swam past a particular spot they will knock their heads against the glass. doinks. Think we spend 6 hours at the zoo that day. Rediscovering and enjoying the company of animals. excitingThe next day went k-box in the morning. Siew Hong & Boyuan were kind of innocently dragged in. haha esp BY since we told him we were going ice-skating and didn't mention kbox. Ice-skating in the afternoon. Those that didn't know how to skate learned really fast. Think we skated for 3 hours. Was planning 5 hours but by 3 everybody cannot tahan le. haha..got blisters then I kind of stopped le. hee* so I think 2 hours is still the best to skate. Halfway there was ice-surfacing and since it's christmas eve there's special programme. First there's this speed-skating competiton then santa claus came out! He performed on the ice yeah and after the performance keep bumping into other people skating. The most memorable is the countdown at orchard bahs. It was undescriable. WORSE than chinatown during CNY. seriously u can't move or breath at all it's so packed!! To make things worse people were spraying the snow and ribbon stuff all over the place..it was so crowded we decided to leave at around 10 and finally escape to the mrt around 11. AND we were considered extremely lucky since we just managed to escape through the doors right before they locked them. Ended up countdowning in the LRT. Went for a drink at the coffeeshop near our houses before heading back. At least it's an experience:) Christmas! Due to the previous days my christmas was spent SLEEPING. I woke up for the 1st time at 12plus but immediately fell back asleep and finally woke up at 3 plus. and what had my parents been doing? spring-cleaning. what a nice way to spend christmas. LOL. Sentosa Susposed to meet them at the bus stop at 8. Was awaken by Siew Hong who called and realised that it was already 8.30! haha..anyway kind of woke up after that and we were telling (or I was listening) to cold jokes all the way to harbour front. the whole bus was filled with sleepy faced people kept awake by us! muahaha..Went to the beach..played volleyball and some ball games la..played pool also..then went to the water. didn't get wet though..wish i didn't wear my super long shorts though...i love the sea..although i didn't bring spare clothes..The guys were all trying to sabo sh..poor sh...haha..yoz she was carried by 4 guys wor! *winks* heh don't kill me..weixiang was forced to get wet too..got a little sun-burned..there's this huge circle of red around my neck..
27th-lots to do at home DEAD TIRED.
The kids and their parents look both surprised and happy! SANTA POWERS!!!!
FYI I still had most of my P sch and lower sec stuff including my Primary 1 chinese xi2 zi4 exercise books. and lots of old storybooks (ie enid blyton) which i still read every now and then:) Plus all my old toys and soft toys. Heh. I'm still keeping everything! 11 days to school reopening. Stuff I still need to do:
For my own reference: http://community.webshots.com/album/525538552ugNDna
Prob the best 4 days of my entire school hols. I'm really glad to make new friends. Everyone is so friendly, I really feel that it's a place where I belong. A place I can go crazy and wild. A place filled with much sharing, joy and laughter. Everyone joined for the same reasons. Most of them wanted to be DJs or shall i say, that's their dreams? haha..it's like at first I'm really interested in radio la, but main purpose is to gain experience and learn and fulfill my life. That's all. But now, through understanding radio, the job is so appealing. It's stuff I really love to do. There's so much in the job, much more than just talking. Really much much more. It's a bit like backstage stuff also? like controling the panel reminds me of Tcn Family, being in the control room..but much more challenging n complicated. I don't know..I was hoping to apply for internship yet..it's mostly for poly ppl...oh and part-timers earn a lot too! haha..then there's this recuiting students to report on school activities..was thinking of applying for that too..haiz..many people I know are planning to send in cassette tapes already. My interest lies in this field, theatre..this..but..I really don't know..signs.. The teachers are really really good. Pro. and Human. haha..u really see another side of them (n of course the more glamourous side when everyone wanted to take photos la:p) Like the ones who gave me the deepest impressions are Mary & Dennis. & of course the "clowns" of the class left deep impressions as well.:p The "bosses" Huishi & Christina are really nice too, staying back to answer all our questions patiently. I sent in a dedication to project S students..and just heard a dedication from Robin! (edit: heard xiaoling's dedications too! Peifen nv read mine..=( yet. haha..yups I know many are tuning in now)haha..I really hope our batch will get to meet again and yeah keep in contact. It's really amazing, and just 4 days 3 hours each and we bonded so much..will miss these days..lurve u guys:)
The DJs were really good too. As teachers. DJs make good teachers. learned lots. That feels a bit wierd though. It feels like being in school. A classroon, some powerpoint, notes etc (n much hands-on activities)The djs used phrases like "lao3 shi1" ,"tong2 xue2 men2", "shang4 ke4 & xia4 ke4" haha..they're really funny and qin1 qie4. Plus our chinese would definately improved. Nice Food and drinks are provided too! haha.. if all school lessons are like that..I would totally love studying man~ although everyday it ends slightly after 9, making me miss my last few eps of wucucaihong but on the way back home, I keep thinking of it and not wanting it to end. 2 more days.only.It's way too short!!
Class was outstanding, cos class theme was mask and everyone was wearing a mask! The verdict: catching attention ie the photographers and the MC! The host singing the chicken little song is so amusing!! haha..and I realised how outoftouch with movies I am. EXCEPT the cartoons. I knoW mAgadscar and chicken little!! *winks at santa* Panic mode: I lost my hp! Left it under the napkin and then it was gone. Finally found it under yy's chair. I think the waiter took the napkin and the phone flew off. LOL. There are so many meaningful photos and songs and videos and smses. I would die if they're gone. Went about looking for theatre clubbers. Couldn't find most of them but met them in the most unexpected places later. Both cases I was SO HAPPY to see them for some reason. Saw Yawen at the toilet and bumped into Lis & XiAn at the dance floor. Thanks to everyone who helped me esp Marlene for doing my hair and Yanyin who found my phone:) Thanks everyone who make this nite memorable:)
Quote of the day: "You don't need to say you are good. People will say you are good if you are good." That's by Mark Lee on StarAward tonight. It sounds like something Tang would say. =)
I miss theatre.
