bumped into the drama guys on the bridge going home, and I thought I was low profile. anyway bringing into mind something I wanted to blog about- that everyone is so friendly and put the way we treat the Ts in Singapore to shame. reached home at around 3, and because it is so early, I decided to go exploring! Went onto the subway with my train guide book, and decided to visit 日坛公园 at建国路。Book says its a 15 minutes walk, but it ended up to be a 90 minutes walk. hurhur. Donated money to an old woman on the street, quite a few of them around, and they are so poor things. :( Give them a coin, equivalent to 2 freaking cents in Singapore and they would be happy. Makes me want to make it a point to donate to them whenever I see them. =X On the way to find the park, the long journey brought me to several embassies including the Singapore one. took photos of the trees (turning spring) and got shouted at by a security guard. -_-" Rows of exotic restaurants and cafes from all over the world were so tempting but broke me ended up eating a cheese danish puff from a bread shop (damn nice too!) The first thing I realized upon entering the park was: erm, maybe it would be better to come here in spring. =X The trees are so bare and the colours are so brown! And then I thought of the beauty of winter and dull colours. LOL. There were a mini children amusement park, a sports centre with rock-climbing, table tennis tables, courts and exercise corner. Its also called the temple of the sun and "the temple's altar was built in 1530 during the late Ming Dynasty for use in ritual sacrifice to the sun by the Emperor of China. The area surrounding the Ritan temple is now a public park, and the site features extensive gardens and a small lake." (wikipedia) There were 4 entrances/exits to the park, and the sky turned dark quickly. I exited via the wrong exit, and..walked on. HAHA. adventure lor, dark and not knowing where you are and which direction to go, throw in dubious looking people around and the scary-shit traffic condition. So what I did was just follow random people and act like I know what I'm doing. LOL. walked past the CDB district, of office buildings and tall sky scrapers, went to a place called "The Place", which has an uber cooL sky screen! Its like those omnitheatre shows at the science centre. Soaked in amazement for 3 shows, including the solar system and universe one which I like best, before going into the surrounding malls, high-end for china's standards. found an interesting article on how the sky screen was built. http://livedesignonline.com/architainment/great_screen_china/ walked on and on and reached -finally- a subway station! Realization that I've walked the areas of 3 different train stations, and that china isn't that big after all, or more of, beijing's train map isn't that big after all. Its like walking from Orchard to Little India. Met Xinyi & Suqin after that and we went to Sanlitun! checked out the clubs at 11pm, and they were all so empty. Told us that people starts coming in at 1am. -.- walked around, nua-ed at Macdonalds, shared 2 bottles of roadside cheapo beer between us, before returning to the clubs, which are still..empty. Gave up the clubs there and started walking down Workers Stadium North road randomly, and then, we saw proper clubs! :D those with lots of taxis queuing up outside. Checked out 3 and settled for the one called VICS. dance floor's dominated by show-off-ish angmohs. free entrance, didnt buy drinks, and we left at 3.30am. Great Wall of China trip tomorrow morning. Nights world! :D
I'm supposed to take a flash-motion photo for tomorrow class. It would be so beautiful. I would have gone out immediately. But I'm just too sianzxz. How can this be. Gotta make it a point not to be so sianxzx.
HAHAHA.
saw a special edition pocky at the supermarket. its for one's loved one, stating 11 November as pocky day and a space for your own love dedication. zhiyuan says he'll probably eat it before it reaches mingyi. there was one left, and i bought it. intending to keep, for how long, i have no idea.
TGIF. Don't want homework for the weekend. :( I still want to play and play and just play play play~
yesterday i just want to sleep now.
& they have napfa test! girls are only required to run 800m, instead of our 2.4km, and instead of standing broad jump they have the choice to skip rope, and they have a throw-ball-as-far-as-you-can component too, which I own them at! :D I also concluded I'm officially cui at running, supposed to run 2 rounds around the field track, but I ran away after one round, escaping conveniently when zhiyuan came over. met tiff at yangjunli's and finally got our student pass! also found out that we are not allowed to take more than one sport. our every tuesday date, the vegetarian restaurant never ever fails us. all the dishes, no matter what they are, are always so healthy and yummy. the service is awesome too, 天爱 never fails to light up when she sees us, and her parents are always so friendly as well. the mood and place is always so cosy, so homely. I feel freaking transparent, like you wouldn't really know whats going on and what I'm thinking (unless you know me damn well), but you can sense my mood. sigh. I can't believe I get affected by such things, and that its this bad. Stress to the max, when there is no assignments, no projects, no essays, no nothing, and not graded. Ridiculous, its all in my head, and I actually got a headache because of it. been here for a month, 16feb to 16march. seemed like we've been living here forever, cos everyday we go to the same places and walk the same routes. third week since school started, and course matching are still unsettled. may have to wake up at 530am tmr, shall sleep early tonight. BYEBYE.
Demoralizing to the max. I don't trust diaryland anymore. enough drama today.
bought black ballet shoes for S$2. <3dance.
Yet I woke up early in the morning after 9 hours of sleep, only to pon class for the first time. Media management.
feels good to be "drunk" the lamb was darn good. besides the trying to get eating xiyangyang image out of the mind. acting and dance class today! FUN. I feel like such a pig. ate the most meals out of everyone in the house. >.< It snowed a little at wangfujing yesterday afternoon when we were there, and this morning the grounds were covered with snow. Just now when we were at xijie it snowed again! I'm still loving the snow, despite all the freeze that drives everyone crazy.
product branding class planning to check out drama-lines class, digital photography class, taiji, wushu and scriptwriting class next week before deciding. x)school rocks, get to take all the fun modules and modules too risky to take in ntu. visited QsingHua University today with Candy and Zhiyuan, went along to their spectrum interview trip. learned about 女书 and the professor showed us amazing artifacts of it. The university is freaking huge, so many time bigger than CUC. took the school bus around the campus, and its the first time taking a bus in china after almost 3 weeks. met the rest at Xidan after that and we walked the length of 3 train stations to reach our intended destination: a jiaozi shop runned by the mother of a superjunior member. the place is filled with his photos and many fangirls. food is not bad. x)
又被爱伤了一遍 我要杀人 -inspired by a media management class in CUC
