Then RIGHT after PE was Popiah! Yeh. With sweat dripping all over the place, haha. quite disgusting. We broke the world guiness record, lots of photograhers were filming away. Ended up 5 seconds on the news x_x Then there was this cheer the counsellors thought up, Dance Assessment next week! which means there is only 2 days left to chorograph and everything(counting Saturday) argh. I don't want to go Walkaton. signz. Chinese Test was horrible, although it was postponed twice already. I did the whole compre like in the last 15 minutes, hahahs. Mid-yrs coming!! For this reason, chinese is simply the best man~~ Paper 1 only. lucky IPers!
Went auddy backstage after that to chill out and we didn't hear the bell!! I was late for Maths Test. Gosh, lucky managed to finish some time before but I think got a lot wrong=( *sadd* After school Andrea suggested jogging/runnning so I went too with some 413ers before Napfa. Ran 2 rounds round school and then onto the swings=) chat there for some time and then saw Shermaine, Zhong Bin and Samantha. Sam asked me to carry her and we both fell onto the grass. hee. Then it was Napfa!! I got all As except for standing Broad jump. I need 169cm for a C (and a gold), 1st 2 time I got like 160, then I begged the teacher for another chance which I landed on *gasps* 168!!! how's that!! Then I started to 'sa jiao' to that (male btw) teacher, saying how that 1 cm makes such a different and he agrees to let me try again. Then I got 170!! whee=) Sue is HAPPY=) yay, now I can say I got gold for all 4 years=) Went to CCa afterwards, it was already almost 5. Did a very impromto randomness movements of the fireball scene. yay Tang said the speed was good. haha, although I think the action sucks compared to the rest. No more cca for the next 2 weeks. MID-YRS!! die liao lah. I dun wanna study. I wan go cca. I wan do MULAN!! =)
Cca was fun today, we did the fight scene where some very interesting moves came up, including the craze of carrying and swinging (or throwing) each other and the 2 or 3 people piggyback. Chinese dance was like staring at us..haha.. Sports Day today, so so hot!! 413 came in 2nd for the relay, yay! and Mrs Wong got some prize for the teacher's relay too. Went Orchard with ting to choose her skating costume, seriously, it's nice=) but then u look nice on anything one lah. yay yay yay we got gold!!
Wait till the photos come up, u guys will be amazed=) Can't wait to see how it turns out=)
Then, I saw this:
English CMI lah, but the filmmaker part is so true!! yar lah, it's just a dream, but then It's still a dream=) Free report for: blurblurkiddy Idealists, as a temperament, are passionately concerned with personal growth and development. Idealists strive to discover who they are and how they can become their best possible self -- always this quest for self-knowledge and self-improvement drives their imagination. And they want to help others make the journey. Idealists are naturally drawn to working with people, and whether in education or counseling, in social services or personnel work, in journalism or the ministry, they are gifted at helping others find their way in life, often inspiring them to grow as individuals and to fulfill their potentials. Idealists are sure that friendly cooperation is the best way for people to achieve their goals. Conflict and confrontation upset them because they seem to put up angry barriers between people. Idealists dream of creating harmonious, even caring personal relations, and they have a unique talent for helping people get along with each other and work together for the good of all. Such interpersonal harmony might be a romantic ideal, but then Idealists are incurable romantics who prefer to focus on what might be, rather than what is. The real, practical world is only a starting place for Idealists; they believe that life is filled with possibilities waiting to be realized, rich with meanings calling out to be understood. This idea of a mystical or spiritual dimension to life, the "not visible" or the "not yet" that can only be known through intuition or by a leap of faith, is far more important to Idealists than the world of material things. Highly ethical in their actions, Idealists hold themselves to a strict standard of personal integrity. They must be true to themselves and to others, and they can be quite hard on themselves when they are dishonest, or when they are false or insincere. More often, however, Idealists are the very soul of kindness. Particularly in their personal relationships, Idealists are without question filled with love and good will. They believe in giving of themselves to help others; they cherish a few warm, sensitive friendships; they strive for a special rapport with their children; and in marriage they wish to find a "soulmate," someone with whom they can bond emotionally and spiritually, sharing their deepest feelings and their complex inner worlds. Idealists are rare, making up between 20 and 25 percent of the population. But their ability to inspire people with their enthusiasm and their idealism has given them influence far beyond their numbers.
Thanks for the birthday greetings, wishes and presents!! I love them all *feels touched* kiwiz-the 1st! blue moo!! haha:P *massive huggies*
SYF!! We did it!=) *hugs everyone* Reached school pretty late, actually for me it was quite early, but almost everyone else was there already and was peasantly surprised by greetings of Happy Birthday=) Quickly did makeup and change, proceeded to stage for some voice warmups. Mr Tang passed around rasins and grunola bars. We saw beautiful personalized tiles with our name on it, pieced together. Thank you seniors, u guys are so sweet=) Before we knew it, the bus was here, before we knew it again Tang was saying "estimated time of arrival one and a half minute" We reached there and went to some holding area to do last minute patching up and rehearse and to chill out. The time finally came. We went in to the stage and started the 5 minutes of setting up and walking through. Good thing is there is light coming from the changing rooms!!(right wing) Bad thing is the stage is much deeper in than the one we practised on. They said the judges are impressed by the way we spent that 5 minutes. Show started. Omg, I can't see anything and banged straight into the boom for the coffeeshop scene! Very fortunately, the boom didn't fall and I didn't fall. We went to some CAFE and bought stuff to eat. I ate a berry yorgut ice-cream=) Went back to school much earlier then we wanted. "We might not get a gold medal, but we are capable of giving a gold medal standard performance. What we do is not for competition, but for ourselves, for our arts and for the performance"-Quoted Mr Tang. How true. Let's hope we get invited to perform again. Results on Friday, 22nd April. (Bio Test 2mr and Chem test the day after..this entry to be continued..)
Cheers
Band got gold and they are very upset. Mr Tang, I want to prove you wrong, the Pope is still alive.
I think we are getting better=) Joyce was damn good today, especially the boat scene, I was so afraid I can't match her. Mr Tang asked if we are nervous on stage. I'm not, that's is, on stage, but off stage I'm dead nervous and panicky. yeah like cat and shimin keeps telling me to "don't panic" haha. Scene changes are so so scary, cross-overs are scary too. Peiqi came to watch us yesterday, Xiangyu came today. Modern dancers watched us yesterday too. JIAYOU everyone!! Let's bag the gold!! Happy Birthday 4/13!! We ate chocolate cake during recess, they ate pizza during lunch. I ate it after school=) I'm so pissed Mrs Chew decide to postpone Chem Test, which means I don't get to miss it!! argh. And it means I miss PRAC, which I don't want to miss=( I'm also missing EL, which Mrs Tay is going to talk about english orals PRELIMS, which is dead serious and I'm going to fail with flying colours, especially the conversation part, which is what she is going through that day=(=( This thing better don't hang on me again. hey peeps, TAG!=)
My wishlist: (*hint hint*) I realise I don't have anything materistic that I want. Hmm.
went to watched 12th night yesterday. FESTE ROCKS !!:D OMG i think I'm in love with him..haha..I think he got the X-factor..and then near the end when he was singing and moving towards the audience I was staring right in his eyes..and my heart melts..then he waved to the person in front of me(3rd row) and the gal burst out in giggles and shrieks. But it was almost as good as waving to me..think he got the SLY's charm..haha..Then he was so professional at the curtain call, like he did it all his life. aww man..:D The show was great overall, the costumes are damn nice..but scene changes were urm very long..Malvolio, Orsino, Antonio, Sebastian, Sir Toby and Sir Andrew were great as well. (realise that it's all guys? haha) I want to watch again..I want to take photo with Feste!!
Ran 6 rounds round hall during PE, ran 6 rounds again after cca(it was raining) in less than 5 minutes, and one round round the school:) So that's like 14 rounds today. haha..only hall lah..171 took a freaking long time to come, five 67 passed and 4 961s, reached home at 8 again. Got our Samsui costumes today. I hereby proclaim that I HATE DRAWSTRINGS!!~! The material is super scatchy but at least it's real=)
How dead am I? We seriously need to rehearsal and always there are people not there. And we haven't even work out costume changes and lights which I'm so going to die. Mulan: u know what? I like my new set of movements much more than the previous one although it is harder and more complicated, because you don't have the extra second to get confused and lose count, everything just We had been watching Mulan and Mulan 2 in English lesson. Mushu is soo kawaii!! haha..english lessons are always so slack. Orals coming. and it counts for Prelims. The one thing that is going to screw me up is English coz I'm just not good at it. The one componenent that screws me up is Oral, which is in 2 weeks time. HEELLPP!!
