Mrs Teo recognised me..we were in home clothes..her memory very good sia haha Mr Ellis said I look like p6 diaoz! Then went CD-rama n met Mrs Teo again! she asked what type of cd we listen to..then went to eat Long Johns! yummy Met Mrs Teo at the library again..she was at the arts section haha expected...then saw her again when we were borrowing books! hehe..and she told us to stop following her or she'll call the police! Her son is kute:D
yeah..actually i was kind of disappointed..the atmosphere was not there, the screams and shouts are like from the fanclubs whom are not even from ny? No fancy lights or anything.. Anyway had cca after that, explored the ways to show affection to one's face and that's about it.
It's 11pm now and Holland V is showing, I am doing FA project now *eyes closing* What a nice surprise:) I see entries in my guestbook:) Thanks guys JJ concert on Friday, same as Maths Remedial. I don't know at first, I mean this will be like the 1st time missing Maths Remedial, I told Mrs Wong I would come long ago. There's a Maths test on Monday, which I need help in. I remember the time where I skipped Maths Remedial just before the test when QiaoKeli was teaching and went out. After coming back I felt super guilty and in the end? failed the test:( A real LIFE concert in our auditorium is like a dream come true. I've heard all about them on tv, 933 etc. Now it's finally happening, right in our school:) Guess i have to really study for the test before hand-both bio and maths And Im promised to play badminton with my cousin on Satursday, will probably end up just running around though
im quite amazed at myself..i even considered just dying or something before running..but when we started, it was fun:) it had been a long time since i ran, even after the 3 rounds, i really feel like running for extra rounds. It's a great feeling, running and running..like a machine..with the fresh air around, and the grass with the bright colourful flowers in the backyard.. it's simply wondeful:) much much better than running in m404 with Mr Tang watching us -_-///
I badly want to see her, I want to talk to her, I want to meet her. No matter what I must see her this teacher's day, and ask for her address so that i can mail her and visit her. Parting is hard, but after parting and you realise you have lost contact is even harder. You never know when or if you would see that person again. Destiny, Fate. That's why you have to cherish what you have and the people around, or there will be regrets. I missed Ms Jenny Ng too, my P4 form and maths teacher. She was leaving for Australia for futher studies and before that she told me to work hard for my psle. I never saw her again. Today Xinyi was depressed over her maths quiz and results( which are way better than me) and after that Kiwiz reminded me that the EOY exams are coming soon and I realised that they were in about 2 month's time. Time flies so quicky and I am still at last year feeling unfair that just because of 0.5 marks i couldn't make it into IP. At that time i totally regretted not working just a little harder-just that small bit of effort. I dont want to regret anymore. I really want to get into HC. My mid-yr results are like shit, an average of 62 with 4 C5s. I have to spend less time online especially playing neopets, watch less tv and study more. I need to focus on Sciences and Lit. I really don't want regrets anymore.
ok now mark lee and jack neo are singing the best bet song changing the verse asking for donations, back to just now, i think the "bed" performance by mark and terrence cao is good, i think this is the kind of performance that shows the hard work and efforts the artiste had put in instead of those that make us squirm. hehe they were panting and sweating a lot, i called. this afternoon i read the papers and came across this touching article on an interview with Miss Esther Mok, the SARS super spreader. As i read, my tears keep flowing, she had indirectly caused the death of her loved ones, her parents, uncle, grandmother, pastor. Living to see your loved one die right in front of your eyes and knowing that you are the cause, it's just so heartbrokening and i could hardly bear to imagine what she had to go through-- omg!!! it's sharon!!! SHAZ JIA YOU!!! when i 1st see Zoe, I thought she had recovered, ok so now it's sharon!! They also showed hu wen shui injured and going on stretchers and into an ambulance, and today he's performing, Im like wow! Both the Sars case and Nkf children, it shows how people around are suffering, and how the rest lend a helping hand to warm the hearts of those in need, giving them love and hope. It reminded me how we should appreaciate our loved ones and things around us and show them that we care, because we will never know when things are going to change--and by then it may be too late
Cca was fine, we watched internal affairs and another film..focusing on Tony Leong and AL Pachino's eyes. i like internal affairs, might just go and buy the vcd^_^ the other was well..the storyline about this police and theif is interesting but the scene that they did nothing but talked, i thought it was boring, maybe i should have paid more attention to what they are saying. Then went M4 did more physical stuff, today on travelling space, fun as usual bio and chem prac tomorrow, nothing much to study, well should eat dinns now
oral was ok besides the news topic, i very very pissed off!! the topic yesterday was one im confident of getting like 9 marks..the nkf show one..ARHH!! very geked.. nvm..i still have bio and chem prac exam to worry about and they're on the same day!!
In fact, the only thing that tocuhed me is the part where they show the poor children, especially the 14 years old kid who can't walk and was so positive about life and dreams to take care of his mother and brother. That is the part I always use to switch off and go to my room and do something else before. But then, i was young, and scared. I did not want to see those unfortunate people. I was afraid i would get nightmares. The thing that totally piss me off is that they are forever talking about the prizes. If they really want to be nice, why not donate the prizes to charity instead? It was a lot of money, probably much more than what the people are calling for the prizes. They did not even mentioned the old 19001126868 five bucks hotline throughout the whole thing and the advertisements. Do they know that there is people who are poor and could not afford the $26 donations but is kind enough to want to donate for the sake of donating and not for the rewards? I mean just donating and doing something kind gives you a warm feeling, that's the reward. It's enough. Dangerous stunts, i know they had lots of safety precautions and tricks up their sleves, but do people have to talk about it all the time? They complain about how fake they are and how the trick was done. They thought they were clever. If this is so, why don't you go and do it? They are danger involved and accidents may happen. There was still this small amount of risk. Even if they were not hurt or harmed, the pain and endurement is enough. Rehearsing is tough. I do not support them risking their lives but since they chose to do it, why not support them and not be hypocritic? to my friends: you know who you are, don't let a boy spoil your friendship, think of how others feel not just yourself..im always there for ya It's almost the end of Sunday, just an hour more to Monday. Maths test and Chinese Orals on Tuesday. Im totally freaking out and Im totally unprepared. Oh hOw i wish Tuesday would never come or it be a normal tuesday where i sit in the dramastore playing marjong and discussing the script instead of the Oral Monster that is going to eat me up..No i have to look on the bright side, my chinese is good, i can speak and im lucky. Confidence is the key, sign my guestbk and wish me luck!
started the day of with some performances like skits on different cultural weddings for racial harmony day, then went to the hall for talent time and the auction. They didnt announce who the winners for talent time were but thought the "hot" dance item was good, especially their coordination. But other than that, Theatre Baskerteers rawks most ! i wish we have taken part in this year talenttime despite probably having to come to school a lot in the june holidays. dong1 xi1 zhai4 na2 li3? kuai4 na2 chu1 lai2!!! HAHAHAHA!! gosh i miss saying that hee* plus the dwarfs hi-ho hi-ho off to work we go! and the cheerleaders dance moves..we're sexy we're hot we're everything ur not! and yes we got the best performance award! ^_^ Then it was the funfair!! Our first shift was publicity so we went around with flyers and banner boards and the loud speaker yelling stuff like WATCH MR LIM GET DUNK AT THE VOLLEYBALL COURT NOW!! second shift was stationed at the dunking machine, we watched Mrs Wong Siew Hiong, Mrs Vivian Chan and Mr Lim Chow Hoon got dunked. I think we earned 200 plus..then we were free for the final hour, basically spent the 4 bucks on drinks, henna and nailart (thanks michelle:D) That's about it and after school met lots of tcners and many decide to pon cca, i was quite shocked that there was cca when i first heard of it i mean it's Youth Day but i have nothing better to do anyway apart from sleeping at home, so met up with Wang Wan and *Ting and we went coro and saw some juniors there. Did physical stuff again..it had been like 2 whole months since colours "intense" training and i did not move a single bit in the june hols and when school reopens, PE happens to fall on public holidays so yeah..u can imagine what it was like, but it was FUN!! well not exactly when ur doing it but after cca i wanted more. Im seriously glad i went, i had lots of fun and Mr Tang is right u can really see who is truly commited, people like xi an cass..who had wanted to go right from the start, im already feeling guilt if im late, not to say ponning..cca rawks! theatre club i love you!
There are many types of people in the world: some would donate without people asking, some would look embarrassed when approached and donate, most would just ignore, some would deliberately walk away, some would just smile but did not donate, some would purposely walk very very quickly past you. Most of the people who donated are elderlies, only like 20% were teens and adults. Most who donated were chinese. Some parents would give their child money to donate, to teach them to be kind and generous, Some parents would push their children away to avoid us. Some who wanted to donate but upon hearing that it was for a Christian organisation, then said NO. some only donated because we are nanyang girls. Who cares about a good school and religion? The most important thing is that we are helping to collect donations for a good purpose, to help those in need, those whose lives are not as good as ours. There are really many types of people around us. This reminds me of OBS again: PK said at the jetty jump: "There are 3 kinds of people in the world, the 1st type is they just walked straight not thinking of anything, and jump. The 2nd type is those who were very scared and prayed and think a lot and finally walk to the end slowly and jump. The 3rd type is those who were very scared, think a lot, prayed whatever, walked slowly to the end, turned around and walk back." she asked us which type we were and what we want to be. I was the 2nd type. But now Im the 1st. walked around Orchard before coming back, now im freaking out for the english compo hw and chinese orals ! and maths hw which i don't know how to do.. more pictures ^_^
exams chinese Os listening exam sux..think i got one confirm wrong liaoz..den was chatting in msc forum about listening for like 5 pages..haha were arguing about why this answer is correct or wrong.. oral is coming soon..im scared..real scared..mainly because it is 30% i think, and the fact that i almost fail the last chinese oral i had still stand, if i fail this oral, i dont think a1 is "reachable" even if i get full marks for everything else at the end of the year. The school have to go and shedule a maths test on the same day as chinese oral. the good thing is maths is only on quadratic graphs/functions and trigo which is not as bad, maybe i got to buck up this term especially on the sciences, i got back chem paper on the 1st day of school with a wonderful score of 17/50 everyone says wow! cca yesterday ok i shall tell u how i went to cca yesterday: went to m4-locked, called 5 tcners from my hp none was on, went to the canteen, saw vic, she said check the LTs so i did, Lt1 was full of bags but nobody was there, so i went LT2 saw a video on the screen, thought i was interupting a class thus ran away (later, according to wanting, mr tang had called for me to come in except i was to focused to escape from that muluating scene that apparently i didnt hear him) ok so i went to the board rooms-nearly interupted a class, went to the hall, went canteen and back to Lt..after a while saw vic again so to make it short, we went to the hall, hall's backstage, auddy(a grp of other sch ppl were rehearsing a play), library mediaroom, dramastore (kinda interupted dance's elections), canteen, LT 1 like at least 6 times..and finally Lt2 where we found them -_-\
they were watching a production video of miss saigon the musical like it shows their rehearsals, scenes changes, backstage changing of clothes etc it's really interesting..i want to watch the actual miss saigon!! aren't the frisbees kute? ^_^ hee just some pictures for pleasure
