Ping Hui to sell breast milk?! December 11, 2003 He’s a smart one, we agree. But to sell breast milk? This is definitely one of the best ones we’ve heard from Tay Ping Hui. His co-star in Always On My Mind, Ng Hui, reveals to us his magnificent brainchild. We sneak a peek at his ‘business proposal’. Kwok Kar Peng Business Proposal by:
Name: Tay Ping Hui, Mr Occupation: Actor Work Experience: Was General Manager of a food chain. Also acted as a doctor for a few months in Always On My Mind. Business idea: Sale of breast milk. Details: This brilliant idea was conceived when I was filming Always On My Mind with my co-star Ng Hui. She portrays a young and modern single woman pregnant with her first child, while I, her doctor friend. During a break between filming, a lightning bolt of ingenuity hit me. Though Ng Hui expresses doubts over the feasibility of it, I believe that the technicalities and logistics could be worked out. I wondered aloud, what happens to a woman’s breasts after she has given birth? “They get smaller until the milk runs out. You can’t keep it,” Ng Hui replied, eyeing me warily “Yes, but I’m sure there must be a way to storing and selling the breast milk. Imagine the convenience it’ll bring to mothers! It’s easy to keep the milk; you just need to store it in the right temperature!” I enthused. “But where are you going to get so many pregnant women?” The inane woman uttered. “In China, of course! There are millions of women over there, and I’m sure they’ll appreciate the extra income,” I said, ever the sensible one.
By introducing off-the-shelf breast milk in the market, it’s an almost perfect way to kick start the economy, increase expenditure, and improve the health of babies worldwide. I look forward to receiving an encouraging reply from you. I can be reached at [email protected]. Yours sincerely,
